Eleonore Behrens

Dr. Eleonore Behrens studied medicine and dentistry at the Christian Albrecht University in Kiel and at Flinders Medical Centre in Adelaide, Australia. Following her state exams she spent her time as assistant doctor in an independent practice. In 1992 she began her training as an assistant at the Clinic of Prosthodontics, Propaedeutics and Dental Materials at the Christian Albrecht University in Kiel (Director: Professor Dr.K.H.Körber). She was appointed consultant in 1995 and deputy director in 1996. In 1999 she switched to the Clinic of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Christian Albrecht University in Kiel (Director: Professor Dr.Dr.F.Härle). She began her activity as freelance consultant at the Clinic for OMF Surgery at the CAU in Kiel (Director: Professor Dr.Dr.J.Wiltfang) and founded "ELAN" ("Conference and Science Medical Consulting" Director: Dr.Eleonore Behrens). Since 1993 the focus of her research has been dental implantology.
