Dr. José Cícero Dinato received his Bachelor's Degree from Faculdade de Odontologia de Santos-SP (Dentistry School of Santos, SP) in 1981 and went on to specialize in Dental Prosthesis and Implant Dentistry, receiving a Master's Degree in dental prosthesis from UNESP-SJC (São Paulo State University) and a Doctorate Degree in Implant Dentistry from UFSC (Federal University of Santa Catarina). He is Co-Professor of Clinical Practices at the Dentistry School at UFRGS (Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul) and Coordinator of the Prosthetic Dentistry Specialization Course of ABO-RS.
He has given more than 300 presentations, workshops, and courses both in Brazil and abroad. Dr. Dinato is the editor and author of the book "Implantes Osseointegrados: Cirurgia e Prótese" (Osseointegrated Implants: Surgery and Prosthesis) published in 1991 by Artes Médicas publishing house and he is part of the editorial staff in specialized journals. He is also the Director of the Dinato Dentistry Clinic in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul.
