Brent Allan
Dr. Allan graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Science degree from the University of Otago, New Zealand in 1982 and gained his Master in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Western Australia in 1991. His surgical training took place in Australia, the UK, and USA. He is currently working as Specialist in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Private Practice and Consultant at Princess Margaret Hospital for Children in Perth, Western Australia. His previous appointments include Consultant in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, the University of Washington, Seattle and the Children’s Hospital & Medical Centre, Seattle, USA. He was awarded the Medical and Optical Martin Travel Scholarship in 1997. His areas of surgical special interest include surgical correction of dentofacial deformity, maxillofacial reconstruction and advanced osseointegrated implant techniques. Dr Allan has presented lectures and surgical training programmes in Australia, South East Asia, the USA and England.
