Dr. Dragoo has been actively involved in teaching, clinical and histological research, and in private practice in periodontology and restorative dentistry. He has lectured extensively for over 25 years in the United States, Canada, Europe, United Kingdom, South Africa and Australia. He has published over 40 original articles in Dental Journals as well as published several books including The Regeneration of the Periodontal Attachment in Humans and Handbook for Scaling and Root Planing with Power Driven Instruments. His research on ultrasonic instruments for subgingival instrumentation and glass ionomer composites clearly define the future for the preservation of the dentition. His most recent research on guided tissue regeneration and guided bone regeneration established new standards of care when applied to periodontal regeneration and implantology.
