Today’s live treatments  focused on esthetic restorations and important roles of Procera® and NobelRondo™ porcelain in providing beautiful results:

  • Dr. Brahm Miller performed multiple restorations using the Procera® Crowns and Laminates and NobelRondo™ porcelain. Included was a presentation by the creator of NobelRondo™, Ernst Hegenbarth, which featured NobelRondo™ Press – the “pressable” porcelain for minimally invasive restorations that can be used both over Prcera® frameworks and Solo for inlays, onlays and laminate veneers..
  • The rehabilitation of an esthetically challenged dentition with a full-arch, implant-supported bridge Procera® Implant Bridge Zirconia and NobelRondo® porcelain.
  • The Arena Program also featured several live surgeries, one being a restoration using a NobelPerfect™ implant. Drilling protocols were discussed for enhancing the gingival margins around the implant platform. As for all treatments shown during the entire program, follow-up data and supporting research were presented.

The Conference Center activities continued:

  • The Procera® all-ceramic lead viewers through the complete live automated production of Procera all-ceramic copings and abutments. The highlight of the process was the CAD/CAM precision milling of the coping blanks.
  • For those interested in maxillofacial rehabilitations, the conference provided them their first chance to explore Nobel Biocare’s Maxillofacial Concept 3D diagnostic and planning software.
  • Large crowds came to watch as expert NobelRondo™ ceramists applying the final touches to esthetic restorations.
  • Hands-on experience with Procera® scanners was also a huge attraction. Attendees were able to experience hand-on the accuracy and ease of using the Procera® Forte scanner.
  • When attendees needed a break from the action of the Arena Program, the Scientific Lounge was still their location of choice. There they enjoyed refreshments, comfortable seating, and unlimited networking opportunities.
