Dr. Lung is a certified specialist in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, currently in clinical private practice at Kingsway Oral Surgery in Edmonton, Alberta. He completed his BSc Degree (1983) and DDS Degree (1987) at the University of Alberta and was in private general practice for 3 years before returning to Dalhousie University for graduate studies in 1990. In 1994, Dr. Lung graduated with a Master of Science in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He has presented and published articles related to the surgical care of complex dentofacial deformities. He is currently serving as the section head for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Hospital-based Dentistry in the Capital Health Region; chief of Pediatric Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Stollery Children’s Hospital; president of the Alberta Society of Dental Specialists; and is an examiner in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery for the Royal College of Dentists of Canada.
