Debora Armellini

Dr. Armellini obtained her dental degree at Universidad Central de Venezuela. After completing her training in Prosthodontics at the University of Michigan, she embarked on a Clinical Fellowship in Implant Prosthodontics at the Hospital for Sick Children and Bloorview MacMillan Children's Centre in Toronto. At present, she is an assistant professor in the Dept. of Endodontics, Prosthodontics and Restorative Dentistry at the University of Maryland Baltimore. Her main interests are dental implants, traumatic injuries to the mouth's structures and/or teeth, oral cancer reconstruction and esthetic dentistry. Some of her research involvements are related to shortened dental arches, success of treatment planning and impact of implant dental treatments on patient's quality of life. As an educator, she has dedicated to develop the undergraduate implant program at the University of Maryland. She has published in peer-reviewed prosthodontics Journals, and lectured in national and international meetings.
