Mário Groisman

Dr. Groisman graduated from the University of State of Rio de Janeiro in 1981. One year late, he began his specialist training in periodontology at the same University. In 1984, he moved to Sweden to be involved in the Master of Dental Science program at Lund University, Malmo. After returning to Rio de Janeiro, he was appointed as head of Periodontology Department at Nova Iguaçu University. In 1990, he became one of the first recognized Brazilian specialists in oral implantology. Dr. Groisman has structured oral implantology specialists programs at three different universities and was professor of the Master’s Degree Program in Oral Implantology at UNIGRANRIO University. Most recently, he was appointed Dean of Estácio de Sá Dental School, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Dr. Groisman has published and lectured extensively throughout Brazil.
