Ashish Kakar

Dr. Ashish Kakar is a graduate from Maulana Azad Dental College and Hospital, New Delhi. He attained his Masters Post- graduate from Eastman Dental Hospital, London in Prosthetic Dentistry and Graduate Certificate speciality in Prosthodontics from UMDNJ-NJ Dental School, USA in 1993. Dr. Kakar worked as a Research and Teaching Fellow in NJ Dental School in the Departments of Prosthodontics and Biomaterials and also in Department of Periodontics from 1993-1995. He has experience with multiple implant systems both in surgical and Prosthetic phases.

He has been in private Practice in India since 1995 with special emphasis on Dental Implantology and Prosthodontics. He is Senior Consultant at Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, New Delhi. He has several international presentations including papers at the IADR, WCOI, ICOI-AP section and ICOI World Congress and NobelBiocare World Tour 2006. He is a Mentor for the Nobel fellow program in New Delhi.

He has extensively published internationally and is the author of Textbook- ‘Oral Implantology’.
