Dr. Fortin received his dental degree from Laval University in Quebec City, Canada in 1979. Since 1992, his practice has focused on prosthodontics and surgical implantology. Dr. Fortin is a GP and recognized expert in the treatment of edentulous maxilla with graftless solutions. He has placed over 10,000 implants and is the developer of the Marius Bridge, a fixed-removable option for the atrophic edentulous maxilla. Dr. Fortin is very active professionally and is a member of many academies and associations, including: diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry; fellow of the Academy of Implant Dentistry; and fellow of the Academy of Osseointegration. He has been providing continuing education training for dentists in complex crown and bridge rehabilitation and prosthetic implantology since 1993.
