Dr. Nakamura obtained his DDS degree from Kanagawa Dental College in 1975 and his PhD in 1994. He is currently a visiting professor with the Faculty of Dental Science, Kyusyu University, and a visiting professor at Kanagawa Dental College. He has maintained a private practice in Kumamoto since 1980. Dr. Nakamura has authored and co-authored numerous articles and books. He is a member of European Association of Osseointegration, American Academy of Periodontology, Japanese Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, Japan Prosthodontics Society, The Japanese Society of Periodontology and Japanese Society of Oral Implantology.
