Dr. A .Kumarswamy obtained his post-graduate (MDS) degree in Periodontology from Bombay University in 1982 and is involved in private practice since then.His interest in Periodontics propelled him into sharing the various principles and philosophies of global periodontics with dentists from all over the country at local,state and national conferences.
He is also the Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantology(USA).He is the Mentor for Nobel fellowship program in India.
His present activities revolve around promoting the INTERNATIONAL ACADEMY of PERIODONTOLOGY (INDIA SECTION) and the INDIAN ACADEMY of AESTHETIC and COSMETIC DENTISTRY amongst the general dental practitioners of India through Continuing dental education programs.
He has extensively lectured all over India,and in U.A.E, Japan, Korea, Turkey,Singapore ,Australia,New Zealand ,South Africa and U.S.A. He has conducted numerous live surgical sessions on all state of the art procedures in periodontics and Implantology.He is currently the mentor for Nobel Biocare education programs having trained over 500 dentists in India, Sri Lanka and Pakistan.
He is the recipient of the prestigious ‘INDIRA GANDHI PRIYADARSHINI award in 1997 for contribution towards the dental profession.
His goal reads, “Oral health for all by 2020.”
