Dr. Kimura received her DDS from the Kyushu University, Fukuoka, Japan in 1983. From 1983-1994, she worked in the Dental Department of Sapporo Central Hospital. In 1994, Dr. Kimura opened a private practice in Sapporo. She is a knowledge user of NobelGuide™ and teaches its use for Nobel Biocare; she recently published a book on NobelGuide™: Computer-guide System - Minimum Invasive and Safe Implant Treatment (Quintessence) Dr. Kimura is a member of EOA, The Society of Japan Clinical Dentistry, the Japanese Society of Oral Implantology, Japan Prosthodontics Society, Japan Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, and The Academy of Gnathology and Occlusion. She has published the following articles: Implant Treatment for a Posterior-support Loss Case (2001) and Practice In Prosthodontics Computer-guide system – Now and Future (2006). She co-authored the following books: Implant Treatment for the Edentulous Maxilla, Decision Making for the Implant – Supported Superstructures (2005, Quintessence) and Ultimate Implant Guide (2004, Ishiyaku).
