Dr. Hosokawa attended the Faculty of Dentistry of Kyushu Dental College where he received his DDS in 1986. He entered the Graduate School of Kyushu Dental College in the Department of Graduate Course of Dentistry. He worked as a fellow in the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science, and received the DMD from the Graduate School of Kyushu Dental College in 1990. Later, he worked as a researcher in the Department of Dentistry at Harvard University in the United States and as an assistant professor in the First Department of Prosthodontics of the Faculty of Dentistry in Hiroshima University in Japan. He is presently the professor in the Medical Rehabilitation for Oral and Maxillofacial Regeneration in the Faculty of Dentistry at Kyushu Dental College. Member of the Japan Prosthodontics Society.
