Curvy™ Abutment is similar in shape to the Nobel Biocare assortment of well-proven esthetic abutments, but features a unique concave waist. The abutment is machined from titanium and works with NobelReplace™ and Brånemark System® NP, RP, and WP implants and corresponding healing abutments.
Curvy™ Abutment is the perfect choice for clinicians seeking to improve patient esthetics starting with the gingiva.

Platform Shifting is the latest in Nobel Biocare’s offering of individualized patient solutions, focused on emphasizing and promoting gingival health and beauty. Platform Shifting is the concept of “stepping down” the size of an implant platform to increase the volume of soft tissue, and blood supply to soft tissue, around the implant platform during implants treatment.
- Converts regular (RP) and wide (WP) platform implants to narrow (NP) and regular (RP) platforms implants, respectively
- Simultaneously, they switch internal connection (tri-lob) implants to external hex platforms

Snappy Abutment™
An easy restorative solution, ideal for posterior, partially edentulous restorations and single implant
restorations. The short profile - 1 mm shorter than Easy Abutment™- allows it to be used with no modification.
Extremely easy impression taking with internal snap-fit solution. The abutment packaging
includes everything needed to place the abutment and record an impression. Traditional crown and
bridge laboratory procedures are used to fabricate the final restoration.
Snappy Abutment™ is compatible with all Nobel Biocare implant systems with external and internal connection.
Note: The NobelDirect® Posterior Implant has an integrated abutment portion, which is identical to the Snappy Abutment™ and thus uses the same prosthetic components.
Easy Abutment™
Snap – Inject – Pick up. An easy restorative solution for single tooth and short-span bridges. The short
straight profile of the abutment allows it to be easily and routinely employed in most clinical situations
with little or no modification. The abutment packaging includes everything needed to place the abutment
and record an impression, and traditional crown and bridge laboratory procedures are used to
fabricate the final restoration.
Easy Abutment™ comes with external and internal connection for all Nobel Biocare implant systems except NobelActive™.
Esthetic Abutment™, Single Tooth Abutment and Narrow Profile Abutment
Esthetic Abutments are used where standard crown and bridge techniques are desired, from a single
tooth replacement to a full arch restoration. The single tooth abutment is used when the interdental
space is limited.
Titanium Temporary Abutments provide a stable temporary solution for mid- to long-term temporization.
Plastic Temporary Abutments provide a short-term temporary solution, while the Immediate Temporary
Abutment is the product of choice for chair side temporization, especially in Immediate Function™.
Esthetic Abutment ™ comes with external and internal connection for all Nobel Biocare implant systems except NobelActive™.
Single Tooth Abutment is compatible for internal connection; with exception for the NobelActive™ implant system.
Narrow Profile Abutment for NobelActive™ comes with internal connection.
Multi-unit Abutment™ System
Designed to provide maximum versatility and to optimize the esthetics of a multiple unit, screw-retained
restoration. 17° and 30° angled abutments allow for consistent prosthetics even in the most demanding
restorations. The low vertical height and possibility to handle implants with up to 40° off angulation
makes the Multi-unit Abutment System the system of choice. All abutments are pre-mounted for optimum
ease-of-use, while decreasing the instruments required for placement
Mult-unit Abutment™ System comes with external and internal connection for all Nobel Biocare implant system except NobelActive™, where it comes with internal connection only.
GoldAdapt & Gold Abutment Bar
The GoldAdapt Abutments are indicated for screw-retained restorations directly to the implant(s).
Single tooth restorations are restored with the GoldAdapt Engaging to prevent rotation of the prosthesis.
This abutment can also be used to create a custom abutment for a cement-retained restoration. The
GoldAdapt Non-Engaging does not engage the internal anti-rotation feature of the implant, allowing
a passive path of insertion for multiple unit or bar-retained overdenture restorations. For the latter, the
Gold Abutment Bar is also an easy-to-use alternative. Titanium Temporary Abutments provide a stable
temporary solution for mid- to long-term temporization. Plastic Temporary Abutments provide a shortterm
temporary solution, while the Immediate Temporary Abutment is the product of choice for chair
side temporization, especially in Immediate Function™.

Ball Abutment Titanium
The Ball Abutments Titanium are used with tissue supported implant-retained overdentures, with two
relatively parallel implants. Ball Abutments Titanium provide firm retention and stabilization of the
overdenture. The Adapter NOBELREPLACE™ WP to RP can be used together with an RP Ball Abutment on
a WP Nobel Biocare Implant with an internal connection.
