Prof Per-Ingvar Brånemark
Prof P-I Brånemark is considered the father of osseointegration and implant dentistry following his discovery that titanium integrates with bone. Today, he dedicates his life to improving the health and quality of life of people suffering from oral and maxillofacial disorders.
Dr Roland Glauser
Dr Glauser is the director of the Zurich Dental Center and the Swiss Smile Campus; he also holds an appointment as clinical associate professor at the Medical College of Georgia. His research activities mainly focus on tissue integration of oral implants and shortened clinical protocols.
Dr Benny Karmon
Dr Karmon owns a private practice specialized in all phases of implant dentistry and clinical research. He is involved in research and development of innovative technologies in the field of dental implants and tissue regeneration.
Prof Brien Lang
Prof Lang received his DDS (1961) and MS in Prosthodontics (1965) from the University of Michigan, School of Dentistry (UMSD).
He retired from UMSD (1998) with the title «professor emeritus». He is currently chair of the editorial committee for the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry.
Prof Daniel van Steenberghe
Prof Van Steenberghe is professor ordinarius with the Faculty of Medicine at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven. He is also an honorary member of several societies, and he is an associate editor of Clinical Oral Investigations and the Journal and of Oral Rehabilitation.
