Dr. Ching appointed as Honorary Clinical Assistant Professor of the Faculty of Dentistry of The University of Hong Kong since October 2007, where he takes a role as a clinical tutor in the Master program in Implant Dentistry. He graduated from the National Defense Medical Center, Taiwan in 1980 and obtained residence training including Oral Surgery, Periodontology, Prosthetic Dentistry and Orthodontics in Veteran General Hospital, Taipei from 1980-1983.
He had served as teaching assistant in the Dental School of National Yang Ming University, Taiwan. He has been in a solo practice since 1984. He started his implant career from 1997and has completed hundreds of both surgery and prosthetic cases. He has lectured extensively in dental implantology and hand on courses in Hong Kong, Taiwan and China. He has been the Director of the Aesthetic Dental Implant Center, Hong Kong since 2004, where the center serves as a training center for dental implantology, Implant Mentorship Program and also provides residence training.
