Luc Rutten

Luc and Patrick Rutten attended Dental Technician School Anneessens in Brussels from 1976–1979. In 1979, they moved to Cologne and specialized in crown and bridgework and ceramic reconstructions until 1984. In 1985, they established the Dental Team; a company specializing in esthetics and function on ceramic restorations (with or without metal) and on implant suprastructures. Together, they have been published in several international journals and co-wrote Implant Prosthodontics (Verlag Neuer Merkur) and Ceramic Restoration Techniques (Concept & Text). They wrote “Implant Aesthetics” (Teamwork Media). In 1990, they were awarded of the international “Newcomer 1990” contest in Munich, Germany. They have lectured, held table-clinics and courses on ceramic restorations, esthetics and implant logy the world over. Dental Team is a pilot laboratory for the Vita Company in Germany. They are both members of the «Dental Excellence International Laboratory Group»and instructors at the IDEA (Interdisciplinary Dental Education Academy) of San Francisco, California.
