Dr. Pettersson obtained his DDS degree in 1980 and graduated as Board Certified Specialist in Prosthetics in 1992 from the Faculty of Odontology, Gothenburg University, Sweden. He worked at the Department of Prosthetics, headed by Prof. Gunnar E. Carlsson, in Gothenburg from 1985 to 1992 and at the Brånemark Clinic from 1986 through 1996 under the leadership of Prof. Ulf Lekholm and Prof. Torsten Jemt. Dr. Pettersson has vast experience in intra- as well as extra-oral prosthetic applications of Brånemark System® and has been lecturing at international training courses and conferences for 20 years. Since 2001, he is has had a private practice at Team Dagnelid, Mölndal, Sweden,  a specialist clinic for intra-oral implant treatment, Brånemark System® as well as NobelReplaceT. In addition, he was one of the team of clinical developers of the Teeth-in-an-HourT concept.
