Dr. Strub received his dental degree and PhD (in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics and Dental Materials) from the University of Zurich. Presently, he is dean of the Dental School at Albert-Ludwigs University in Freiberg, Germany and holds the position of professor and chairman of the Department of Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics. Dr. Strub is an internationally recognized researcher, author, and lecturer. He is considered one of the leaders in the field of prosthodontics, periodontology and oral implantology. He has written, and contributed to hundreds of books, research articles, and abstracts. Dr. Strub is a member of many professional organizations including: the European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics, International Association for Dental Research, and International College of Prosthodontics. He serves on several editorial boards including the International Journal of Prosthodontics, Clinical Oral Implants Research, Journal of Oral Rehabilitation and the Journal of Esthetic Dentistry
