Dr. Pradhan graduated in 1983 and obtained his MDS degree in prosthodontics in 1986 from the Mumbai University India. Presently, he is on the faculty for the implantology program at the Manipal Academy of Higher Education. He has been the head of dentistry, P.D. Hinduja Hospital Mumbai since 1993. Dr. Pradhan is also director of Pradhan Dental Centre Mumbai. He introduced the concepts of immediate implantation, function, and Teeth-in-an-Hour™ in India. He has been a pioneer for minimally invasive dentistry in India with both hard and soft tissue lasers. He has published several publications including a chapter in a radiology textbook. He is currently president of the Indian Academy of Laser Dentistry and serves on the international committee of the Academy of Laser Dentistry. He has lectured extensively and conducted several workshops in India and abroad on implants, cosmetic dentistry, laser dentistry, and fixed prosthodontics.
