Dr Girish Rao is a Faciomaxillary surgeon and is a specialist in aesthetic and cosmetic facial surgery and implantology. Having done his masters program in India he obtained two fellow-ships from the Royal college of surgeons of England and Ireland. He got intensive training in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery in England in various hospitals and worked as a Senior Specialist Registrar at the prestigious St.Bartholomew’s and Royal London hospitals, London, UK.

Dr Girish Rao is currently working as Professor and Heads the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery at RV Dental College and Hospital Bangalore India. He is also a Senior Consultant and operates in various multi-specialty and state of art hospitals in Bangalore such as Apollo hospitals, Sagar Apollo, NIMHANS and Bangalore Institute of Oncology. 

He is a keen academician and has trained several dentists into the field of implantology. He has presented many papers at national and international conferences and has several publications in international journals.
