Susan Tanner

Susan qualified from University College Hospital in 1986. After various hospital appointments, Susan went on to study for a Master's Degree in Prosthetic Dentistry at The Eastman Dental Hospital and her specialist degree at the Royal College of Surgeons.
She is one of the founding partners of the Dawood-Tanner Multidisciplinary Specialist Practice, and training centre in Central London. Working with implants for nearly 20 years, Susan has a particular interest in full arch reconstruction with implants. She routinely lectures and trains practioners in Implant Prosthodontics.
Having set up the Maxillofacial prosthetic facility at St Bartholomews, she has worked extensively with the rehabilitation of patients with facial deformity, also working with the charity Facial Surgery Research Foundation – “Saving Faces”.
