Learning outcomes:
At the conclusion of this session, the audience will be able to:

  • Understand backgrounds for the development of the All-on-4 concept
  • Describe the patient benefits for a treatment concept that is based on a maximum patient comfort on minimal amount of implants.
  • Explain the clinical benefits and the clinical significance for all-on-4 concept compared to other concepts using evidence-based science.
  • Discuss the long-term clinical results.
  • Summarize why a fixed overdenture on four implants can be considered as a serious treatment alternative for a removable overdenture on two implants.
