Learning outcomes:
At the conclusion of this session, the audience will be able to:

  • Understand the backgrounds of different restorative possibilities of connecting implant tot implant or implant to natural tooth
  • Describe how successful a prosthetic clinical outcome can be achieved with screw retained, a cement retained or hybrid restorations, using evidence-based literature
  • Explain the clinical significance for the choice of the restorative connection.
  • Discuss the indications for the different solutions.
  • Summarize evidence-based literature on the different treatment modalities.
