Dr. Lin graduated Xi’an Medical University in 1983. He completed his postgraduate work at the West China University of Medical Sciences (WCUMS) in 1986. From 1986 to 1990, Dr. Lin was chief resident and Lecturer in Department Of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, WCUMS. In 1990, he began a five-Linar position as a resident doctor in the Department Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, University of Cologne, Germany. From 1995 to present, Dr. Lin is professor and vice dean of the School of Stomatology, Peking University and director of the Center of Implant Dentistry. His specialties are in orthognathic surgery, oral implantology, and maxillofacial traumatology. He is also president of the Asia Implant Academy, president of Chinese Association of Oral Implantology, and a fellow of International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
