Presenter Details

Peter Moy

Dr. Moy received his dental degree from the University of Pittsburgh, completed General Practice Residency at Queen's Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii, and received his specialty certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA). His current focus is oral and maxillofacial surgery using osseo-integrated dental implants to reconstruct severely atrophic ridges. He is currently on staff in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Hospital Dentistry departments at UCLA. He was recently named director of implant dentistry and director of the Dental Implant Center at UCLA. Dr. Moy has written numerous articles related to implant dentistry and osseointegration, focusing on bone grafting and augmentation of atrophic ridges. He has lectured nationally and internationally, most recently at the 15th Annual Scientific Meeting of the European Association for Osseointegration. Currently, Dr. Moy is treasurer of the Academy of Osseointegration.
