Upon completion of this course the participant will understand:

Management of soft tissue adjacent to both implants and natural teeth.
- Papilla preservation, soft tissue grafting and ridge maintenance with and without bone grafting.
- Split and full thickness incisions, atraumatic flap elevation and implant osteotomy preparation on pig jaws.
- Implant placement in deficient ridges, bone graft harvesting, membrane management, fixation, connective tissue graft harvesting, periosteal release and tension free closure of flap margins.
