Dr. Scher is a registered specialist in surgical dentistry and prosthodontics. He is a founding member and past chairman of the Association of Dental Implantology, and is a diplomate and Board member of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He is director and principal lecturer of the Osseointegrated Year Course – now in its 17th year. Dr. Scher is implant section editor of Aesthetic and Implant Dentistry and was scientific chairman of Nobel Biocare London World Tour September 2006. Dr. Scher has authored over 40 peer-reviewed articles and has a special interest in lecturing on implants placed in the posterior mandible.
