Presenter Details

Chantal Malevez

Dr. Malevez (MD and DDS) is a professor at the Faculty of Medicine at the Free University of Brussels teaching the management of the edentulous patient and implant technologies. Dr. Chantal is president of the DES (postgraduate education) of Periodontology in the same university and vice-president of the Certificate in Implantology. She is the clinical chief and member of the Cleft Palate Center team of the department of Maxillo-facial Surgery and Dentistry at the Children's Hospital of Brussels, treating congenital maxillo-facial deformities. As clinical chief at the Department of Maxillo-facial Surgery at the academic Hospital Erasme, she develops oral rehabilitation by means of ossseointegrated implants. She is a member of the following scientific societies: EAO, AO, EACMFS, Royal Belgian Society of Maxillo-facial Surgery. She lectures internationally and publishes in the fields of periodontology and implant surgery in edentulous patients as well as in facial deformities.
