Dr. Lang received her DDS from the University of Michigan, and her MS and a Certificate in Prosthodontics from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio where she is currently head of the Implant Division in the Department of Prosthodontics. Dr. Lang has published numerous articles in the area of implant biomechanics. Her research interests in the area of implant biomechanics have included the evaluation abutment-implant joint stability, preload and its effect on osseointegration, the effect of fit on the stress distribution of the implant to bone complex, and immediate loading of dental implants. Dr. Lang is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics, Chair of the Center for Prosthodontic Education for the American College of Prosthodontics, a member of the Academy of Prosthodontics, the IADR, and the Academy of Osseointegration.
