Presenter Details

Christoph Blecher

Dr. Blecher attended the medical schools of the University of Giessen, Germany and the University of Florida, USA. He graduated from the University of Giessen Medical School in 1993 (MD) and the Dental School in 1998 (DMD). Dr. Blecher was a junior surgeon in the Departments of Maxillofacial Surgery and Facial Plastic Surgery at Goethe University in Frankfurt (1994) and the University of Giessen, Germany (May 1994 to 1998). From December 1998 to 2006, he was senior surgeon and vice director of the University of Giessen aforementioned department. Dr. Blecher is also a honorary consultant with Kings College Hospital, London, UK. He holds regular clinics in London, UK and Giessen, Germany on head deformities; and held a micro-surgical internship under Dr. Claudio Angrigiani in Buenos Aires, Argentina (August 1999). Since January 2007, Dr. Blecher has been a member of cfc Craniofacial Team Hirslanden, Aarau, Switzerland. His specials interests are craniofacial surgery, head deformities, reconstructive surgery.
