Presenter Details

Gert Wittwer

Dr. Wittwer received his certification in oral and maxillofacial surgery in 2003. His doctoral thesis was “Das ITI®-Implantat: Eine klinische und mikrobiologische Nachuntersuchung” (1997-2000). Between the years of 1994-7, he studied dental medicine at the Medical University Basel and, from 1984-91, he studied medicine at the Medical University Zurich. He currently is a consultant for the Cranio-Facial Center at the Andreas Klinik in Cham, Switzerland. He has authored articles on guided surgery, biodegradable osteosynthesis materials, and treatment of atrophic mandibular fractures. Dr. Wittwer regularly attends and presents at international conference and congresses, and he has conducted numerous lectures and symposiums throughout western Europe.
