Presenter Details

Leila Jahangiri

Dr. Jahangiri completed her BDS from King’s College School of Medicine and Dentistry, University of London (1991). She received her DMD training, Certificate in Prosthodontics, and Masters of Medical Sciences degrees (MMSc) from Harvard School of Dental Medicine (recipient of Joseph L. Henry Prize for Excellence and Overall Achievement in Clinical and Research Training and Contribution to the School). She has taught undergraduates and residents in dentistry and Prosthodontics at Harvard, University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and New York University. She is currently the Chair, Louis Blatterfein Department of Prosthodontics at NYU and has established an extensive predoctoral curriculum on Implant Dentistry. She remains active in research, clinical practice, and teaching (is responsible for the management and oversight of the predoctoral and postgraduate Prosthodontics curriculum and patient care at NYU). She serves on the editorial review board of the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry.
