Rubén Davó
Dr. Davó attended the University of Alicante School of Medicine where he received his MD in Medicine and Surgery. Later on, he joined Ramón y Cajal Hospital in Madrid where he received the Oral and Maxillofacial Specialist degree. Since 1995, he has run the Oral and Maxillofacial Service at the Hospital Internacional Medimar in Alicante. He obtained his Master’s Degree in Biotechnology, focusing on his thesis: Zygoma fixture with immediate function and minimally invasive surgery. Since 2005, he has run the Cyima Institute (Implantology and Maxillofacial Surgery) in the same hospital, with dedication to assistencial labour, clinical research and educational activities (collaboration with different universities). He has worked extensively in the fields of complex oral rehabilitation, bimaxillary surgery with immediate function and zygoma fixture (classical protocol and Immediate Function™).
