Frank Butz
Dr. Butz received his DDS degree in 1996, and his DrMedDent degree in 1998, from the University of Freiburg. From 1996 to 2000, he received graduate training in the Department of Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics at the University of Freiburg and was appointed to the faculty in 2000. Dr. Butz is a board-certified prosthodontist (German Society of Prosthodontics and Dental Materials, DGZPW). From 2002 to 2004, he served as a visiting assistant professor in the Weintraub Center for Reconstructive Biotechnology, Division of Advanced Prosthodontics, Biomaterials, and Hospital Dentistry at UCLA School of Dentistry. In 2004, Dr. Butz was the recipient of an Osseointegration Foundation Research Grant Award and the 2005 Arthur R. Frechette Research Award.
