Dr. Marcelo Calamita received his Bachelor´s Degree in Dentistry from University of São Paulo in 1988. He was a member of Department of Prosthodontics at the same University for 17 years, were he received the Master´s Degree in Prosthodontics (1999), Certificate in Prosthodontics (2001) and the Doctoral´s Degree in Prosthodontics (2005).
He was Associate Professor of Dental Materials and Prosthodontics at University Braz Cubas, (Mogi das Cruzes/SP), from 2000 to 2004, and Associate Professor of Prosthodontics at University Guarulhos (Guarulhos/SP), from 2004 to 2006. He is currently the President of the Brazilian Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry and maintains a full-time private practice focused in the areas of implant therapy and aesthetic prosthodontics.
