Dr. Fang graduated from Guy’s Hospital Dental School, University of London, United Kingdom. During the 20 years in clinical dentistry, he received the Master Degree in Conservative Dentistry and Advanced Diploma in Prosthodontics. Currently, he is the Honorary Clinical Associate Professor in the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Hong Kong.

Dr. Fang also pursued academic training in Family Dentistry, attaining Membership by examination at both the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and the Royal College of Surgeons of England as well as Fellowship at the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons. He enjoys a trio of clinical practice, research and education. He runs two private practices, engages in postgraduate teaching at the University of Hong Kong, and has been invited to lecture extensively in the Asia Pacific region.

He was instrumental in the development of the Chow-Fang magnetic keeper for implant-supported overdenture applications. Dr. Fang plays an active role in promoting safe implant practices. He is the director of the Centre for Oral Rehabilitation, which offers a platform for the continual education in the field of Prosthodontics and Implant Dentistry for Dental Practitioners.
