Dr. Sierraalta received her dental degree from the Universidad Central de Venezuela and her M.S. in Prosthodontics from the University of Michigan. Dr. Sierraalta is a clinical associate professor in the Biologic and Materials Science Department, Division of Prosthodontics at the University of Michigan. She teaches prosthodontics to undergraduate and graduate dental students, including the placement and reconstruction of implants using Procera® technology. She is a continuous contributor to the IADR with over 20 research abstracts and has authored papers and lectured internationally on the applications of Procera® technology in dental rehabilitations. Her main research interests are in the area of CAD/CAM dentistry and all-ceramic dentistry. Dr. Sierraalta was instrumental in introducing the NobelGuide™ concept to North America, leading the first training sessions in the United States and Canada. Dr. Sierraalta is a fellow of the American College of Prosthodontics and a diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics.
