Dr. Lefebvre received her DDS in 1983 and MS in Prosthodontics in 1986, from the University of Michigan. Dr. Lefebvre is a professor in the Oral Rehabilitation and Oral Biology departments at the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry and the School of Graduate Studies. She is also a section director of Removable Prosthodontics in the Department of Oral Rehabilitation. She is a recipient of the School of Dentistry’s Excellence in Teaching and Outstanding Faculty awards. Dr. Lefebvre is a diplomate with the American Board of Prosthodontics, a fellow with the Academy of Prosthodontics and the American Dental Education Association, American College, American Association of Dental Research, and the International Association of Dental Research. In 2003, Dr. Lefebvre was appointed editor of The Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry after serving as associate editor since 1997. She is actively involved in research and her focus is the biocompatibility of restorative materials.
