Dr. van Dijk graduated in dental from the Vrije Universiteit of Amsterdam. He Specialized in CMD, peridontology and endodontics. After 18 years in general practice, he started the postgraduate program in oral implantology at the Academic Centre of Dentistry in Amsterdam (ACTA), where he received his Masters of Science degree in 2001. In 2001, Dr. van Dijk started the referral clinic for oral implantology and prothodontics in Amersfoort (Implantologie Amersfoort). He is the chairman of the Stichting Implantologie Nederland (Oral Implantology Foundation Netherlands, a scientific cooperation bond between several referral clinics). Together with his colleague Dr. Joost Brouwers, he is a know speaker on the jubject of implantology, as well as a dedicated NobelMentorTM. In their course center in Amersfoort (NL), they train every month a new group of dentists in the field of oral implantology.
