Dr. Hanisch graduated from University of Aachen in 1990. He completed a three-year postgraduate program in Implant Dentistry at Loma Linda University, receiving a Master of Science degree. Dr. Hanisch served as assistant professor in the Department of Prosthodontics at the University of Aachen from 1995 to 2002. He is a diplomate of the German Society of Prosthodontics. He was recipient of the Brånemark Award (1997) and the German Prosthodontic Society Award (1999). He is on the editorial boards of the European Journal of Esthetic Dentistry, Implantologie (Germany), and Stratégie Prothétique (France). Dr. Hanisch has published and lectured on the interrelating areas of implant and periodontal plastic surgery as well as prosthetic dentistry. Currently, he maintains a private practice in Paris
